  13. Well, after two conversations with UU tech support this morning, I╣m no
  14. closer to getting MacPro working.  As I told the tech support person, the
  15. normal emulation works fine (v 5.5), but MacPro just loads and exits.  It
  16. does not hang the machine.  It loads, gives no message except │MacPro 1.3
  17. exiting successfully▓ then returns me to the shell.  Looking in TaskX, I
  18. see it load and then vanish.  The tech support person suggested I disable
  19. all my amiga side extensions, which I did.  Same story!  He then said to
  20. make sure I had the Gadjget.library in Libs:.  There is no such beast - or
  21. at least it isn╣t part of the standard amiga software.  I╣m running AOS
  22. 3.1, but I checked my A2500 running 2.1, and it also - has no
  23. Gadget.library.  I╣ve searched everywhere, but all I could find was
  24. gadtools.library, which I installed...  Still no luck.

  26. Could I have a defective GAL3 (the replacement chip)?  I get no startup
  27. screen or anything with MacPro AT ALL.  Just loads, then exits.  Again,
  28. 5.5 continues to work well.  Also, I tried downloading MacPro1.2, but it
  29. does just the same thing.  I can╣t help but wonder if you aren╣t looking
  30. for some non-standard library that you are so used to you take it to be
  31. standard.  Since I haven╣t heard of this problem on the net from other
  32. users, I╣m lost!  Anybody have gadjet.library in their libs: directory?

  37. By the way, my system configuration looks like this:
